This article provides detailed instructions on importing the Styleguide template included in all BricksWizard templates.
The Styleguide template includes all the Theme Styles of the template.
Let’s get started.
Step 1. Open Bricks Builder
Load Bricks Builder on any page on your website and go to Settings > Theme Styles. You can find the Themes Styles option by clicking on the Settings icon at the top left of the builder.
Step 2. Create Theme Style
Click on the Theme Styles menu and you’ll find that there’s no Theme Style applied on the website (unless you explicitly created a style before).
Click on the + icon which lets you create a new Theme Style. But instead of creating a new Theme Style yourself, you’ll find an option to Import a Theme Style.
Step 3. Import The Styleguide
On clicking the Import button, you’ll see an option to upload a .JSON file.
Import the JSON template into your downloaded template. You can find the Styleguide file in the Core Template folder of the template you downloaded.
Step 4. Apply The Styleguide (Theme Styles)
Once the Styleguide template is imported, you’ll find an option to apply it to your website. Select the Styleguide and apply it.
Once applied, all the other templates in the download will look as intended. Here’s an example of how templates look with and without the Styleguide (Theme Styles) applied.
Once the Styleguide is applied, you don’t need to apply styling or any customization settings to the template. But you still have the freedom to add additional styles to the template as desired.
